It describes: what the body does to the drug or how one drug interacts with other drugs in the body, namely their excretion, metabolism or availability. For example some antibiotics can increase an amount of opiod in the blood stream and potential for overdose.

Pharmacokinetics: This relates to how a drug is absorbed, transported; metabolized and ultimately cleared from the body. You have to specify which opiate medication you are inquiring about.
