See physician: I am not sure what the knot looks like or how long you have had it. I suggest you see your internist or family physician to show it to them. I am not sure by your question if it is boney, cystic, warty.....etc. Please show it to your physician for help. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. It may be a sign of osteoarthritis, but without more information, I can't say for sure.
