Just because an: Ultrasound was clear does not clear the gallbladder. Sometimes if it is very sluggish in emptying it will cause the same symptoms and the only cure is surgical removal . You look for it in a test called a HIDA scan. Best.

Got to have a HIDA scan. I know the 1st part is 1hr. But my letter states needs to eat/drink after 1st scan & then another scan for gallbladder. I dont have a gallbladder(removed) so will I need the 2nd part of the test or is this still done anyway?
