Yes: Many different classes of antibiotics can cause an elevation in lipase as a result of pancreatitis. Macrolides (azithromycin and its relatives), sulfa drugs (like bactrim), quinolones (like levaquin), and some other less commonly used antibiotics have all been implicated. Check with your doctor if there is any concern, and if you should continue the medication (if you haven't already finished).
