Punch biopsey on arm, 4 (v tight) stitches removed 12 days ago. now 3mm white thread end just emerged thru skin. dr says it happens. is it normal?

Probably, sort of :): Could either be a small thread of fibrous tissue from the skin edges coming through (part of you), or could be a small piece, or potentially the whole of, one of those stitches if they accidentally cut the knot off the stitch rather than clipping one side and pulling through. Could try pulling on thru. If swelling, bleeding, oozing, pain then see doc.
