A member asked:

I had a strep-throat about a month ago (treated with antibiotics). now there's every now and then with spots in my throat but the throat isn't sore.

Not uncommon: The mouth and throat are a common entry point for a multitude of viruses and bacteria. Many non-strep germs will leave some evidence of their presence at the tonsils/soft palate. Unless you actually test positive with a strep test, an alternate cause is likely.
