My understanding: chest pain worsening upon exertion can be cad. if chest pain sometimes present but never during vigorous exercise, is cad unlikely?

Unlikely...: Usually chest pain associated with CAD occurs upon exertion since this is the time when more workload it is put on your heart and requires high oxygen supply so if there is a clot or plaque obstructing should cause more symptoms during activity.It can also happen at rest but if it happens while doing exercise. A definite answer should be pursued by getting evaluated.F/u w/ your doctor on this.
