Possible hernia: Assuming no direct injury, you might have an incisional hernia that is expanding. Best to have it examined on person.

Incision pain: If you have not had an injury in the area, this is a symptom that should be evaluated by your Primary Care Doctor or a General Surgeon ASAP. Your physician may need to obtain an Ultra Sound or CT of the Abdomen to rule out a hernia caused by weakening of the abdominal wall in that area. If you have fever, nausea and vomiting, and increasing pain, go to the ER.
