A member asked:

Is there a drug like clomid (clomiphene) that trick hypotalamous you have low testosterone and stimulate lh?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Its no trick: Clomid (clomiphene) as well as other aromatase inhibitors block estrogen receptors in the pituitary, causing the release of LH. In women, this helps with ovulation (egg production), in men it can raise testosterone levels. However, at age 16, you should not be using these medications unless under the guidance of an endocrinologist.
