Is cancer in post nasal space curable?

Dr. Myron Arlen

Yes: Tumors in this region are the nasopharynx malignancies and are readily curable. The treatment of choice is to use parallel opposing radiation ports with IMRT to the site of the lesion which is easily identified by nasopharyngoscopy with a nasal scope. This should be followed by chemotherapy for about 6 cycles. If there are no cervical nodes to handle the lesion should easily be cured.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
