Depends on Stage: Oral cancer is "staged" based on size of tumor, lymph node involvement and metastasis tnm. Stage 1 is less than 2 cm with no nodes or mets t1n0m0; stage 2 is 2-4 cm with no nodes or mets t2n0m0; stage 3 is greater than 4 cm t3n0m0; stage 4 is reserved for any mets and/or multiple nodes. 5-year survivals are 95/75/40/5% respectively for stage 1/2/3/4.
