Food Poisoning: Vomiting is the body's response to food poisoning as it attempts to rid itself of the toxin or bacteria. I wouldn't suggest attempting medication at this time. Even something mild like Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Mylanta is likely to induce more vomiting at this time. Hydration is key so encouraging water in sips as tolerated may be most helpful at this time.
