Not a cure: Soframycin is an antibiotic cream not an antifungal cream. It will not help cure the injury. It is not necessary to use an antibiotic cream on this type of injury. Keeping the nail bed clean and dry should be enough for it to heal. If you notice redness or pus around the injury you should see a medical provider as antibiotics by mouth may be necessary.
