Very common: Surgery for wisdom teeth is quite common as are the use of preoperative antibiotics with ANY type of surgery.

Root part behind: Maybe not. If the tip IS NOT infected./ then no. But, I if the rot tip is infected then YES. Small pieces of tooth can be integrated into bone. NO Problem. Your's may be so. Not infected.
