No: Magnesium Citrate is a liquid that helps move the bowels by adding water to the stool and adding movement to the intestines. Epsom Salts are salts that you can soak in after exercise and can cause you to move your bowels.but are not the same as Magnesium citrate,

Common problem: Pharmacy benefit managers have a stepwise list of medications to try before an expensive or prescription medication becomes "covered". You can buy the new medication for cash, or try the whole list to qualify- just make sure the trial is documented. Doctors try to answer the questions to reflect medical necessity, unfortunately the forms don't allow much room for discussion. Good luck.
