Bcp: The placebos are just that, they give you the chance to have a period in between your cycles of hormones. The menses will come and then when you start the active hormonal pills, it will stop usually in one to two days after restarting them.

Why?: There is no reason to take placebos that you missed. You should not assume protection from pregnancy this month. Use another form of contraception. Take all your pills exactly as directed this month. Your period will be irregular and no way to know when bleeding will stop or restart this month. In future if you skip placebo pills do NOT take them the following month. Just take next pack normally
