A member asked:

How much magnesium should a diabetic who has osteoporosis, rarely eats fish & doesn't like leafy green vegs (except lettuce) take? which type is best?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Magnesium: Hi. Magnesium (Mg) is a trace element, and doesn't specifically need replacement. You should be eating a balanced healthy diet anyway, being diabetic, and such a diet is replete in Mg. In addition to a healthy diet, if you want reassurance, take any of the standard multivitamin & mineral supplements.
