I am 36/female and having increased fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, increased depression and exhaustion. My GP order labs; my tsh is reported as 3.54 and my free T4 is 0.8, both say on my lab references these are within normal range, but are they?
Im 42 type2 diabates for 10 yrs (avg 180 sugar level), recent lab test shows high tsh:11.5 (range 0.3-4.2) but normal free t4: 19 (ref12-22), vit d 11.3
Normal range TSH and free T3 but low T4?? Just had my thyroid labs done - TSH - 1.88, free T3 - 3.3 and free T4 is .87. What would cause this? I dont sleep great with my 2yo waking up every night but why is T4 low? Is t3 high?Is this a bad balance?
Thyroid meds needed or re test? exhausted. Free T4 always normal. TPO AB OK but high in past. TSH usually 2.5-4.3. first time over lab range at 5.5.
