Eating acidic foods: Hot spicy foods, tomatoes, salty foods, processed foods late at night, too close to bedtime. Also, not using propped pillows like 2 pillows to prevent the acid from refluxing up the esophagus, vs. using a flat pillow. Eat early at night not late.
