A member asked:

Is clindamycin safe for using in daytime and is it safe in direct sunlight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, clinda is safe: You are probably thinking of DOXYCYCLINE which is NOT safe in sunlight - given that some patients may have a photosensitivity to that. Clindamycin is not a tetracycline, and is therefore safe. (It is a lincosamide if you really want to know!)
