Varies: I would not really say clindamycin is a dangerous antibiotic in general. The main issues in your case would be that a fair amount of Mrsa strains are resistant to clindamicin and also it can cause (as many antibiotics can) pseudo membranous colitis which is when antibiotics can kill normal bacteria in the gut and unhealthy bacteria can overgrow. Iv verse po each has their plusses and minuses.
