Shingles?: It can be this small. If you had a swab which confirmed shingles, I would believe it.

Can be small: or large distribution. If culture showed zoster then it is shingles. Most doctors can identify by appearance. Medication can shorten the duration. Post herpetic neuralgia is the biggest concern.
