Over the past few days i have noticed a dark small spot on my iris. what is this and is this cancerous? it is round and symmetrical.

Iris nevus: Just have your eye doctor check it out for you, and noted on your medical record. So that it can be watched and monitored. It should be no problem for them to do so. Good catch!
