Is it normal to get new small moles at 28? my dermatologist said that it's not abnormal until 30 or 35, but reading on the internet says differently.

Yes: Your dermatologist is correct. New moles can form normally until the mid thirties. Even after that, it's possible, but we worry about melanoma. The biggest thing to look for is a mole that changes color, size, or appearance. If you have one of those, see your doctor or dermatologist. Hope this helps!
