Many reasons.: The area may be raised from many reasons: Due to the trauma of picking off the mole, from swelling or scarring. The mole may be returning. If it was brown before it may have depigmented. It could be something new and unrelated to the mole. It' good that you had it checked. If it is continuing to change, it should be checked again.
