Tramadol: Tramadol may be safer but there is still a risk. The main effect of tramadol is via serotonin pathyways but its metabolite has opioid receptor effects - so you are never immune from possible addiction. THe best is to use an NSAID and regular Tylenol (acetaminophen) if you are concerned.
