Weird : Why were you taking Metoprolol succinate twice a day? The whole point is because it's long acting you just need one dose a day. So you were on 100mg a day, now you need 50mg twice a day tartrate. Talk to your doctor.

No need to chage dos: If you are taking two times a day you dont need extented release tablets . Same dose sholud be ok
