Abscess: An abscess festering for years is not good. No pain does not mean no problem. Breakdown of bone and other tissues is not always evident to the patient. This needs to be addressed immediately. Please call a local dentist for an appointment.

If: If you had an infection anywhere else in your body would you just ignore it? Unfortunately spreading infection can do significant damage to bone and adjacent soft tissues, as well as spreading to other organ systems, without you're feeling any pain. PLEASE call a Dentist for immediate attention. If spreading infection causes airway inflammation it can be life threatening.
