Is there a way to see an occipital skull fracture on an mri? if so at what level is it best to view it at? thanks

Subtle finding: MRI does not visualize bone very well, so an occipital fracture may not be visualized snce the skull bones are quite thin.

Mri: may not pick up a skull fracture. X-ray or CT scan is better.
