Possibly: Symptoms of throat cancer do include a sore throat that doesn't go away as well as occasional bleeding. Although throat cancer is not common in a young person who has never smoked, it is becoming more frequent due to human papilloma virus (HPV). There are other conditions that can cause similar symptoms, but any sore throat that persists for months should certainly be evaluated by an ENT doctor.
