Testing Qualitative: Prick testing is qualitative not quantitative, so you cannot derive severity from your results. Also, in order to interpret results you need saline and histamine controls.

Dust mite: Positive prick skin tests means there is a sensitivity to the allergen (i.e. Dust mite). The larger the size, the more likely the allergen will cause sxs. However, size does not correlate with symptom severity.

An allergy test was part of my CBC, It showed Dermatophagoides Pteronyssinus (D1) IGE at 4.48 and Dermatophagoides Farinae (D2) IGE 9.48... I also see my Immunoglobuline E was high.. 121 - lab showed it should be 114 or under to be normal.. concern?
