Mite allergy: Dust mites are common causes of respiratory allergic symptoms and more recently may be aggrivators of some pediatric eczema. In sensitized individuals they can cause itchy nose, sneezing, runny nose, eye symptoms, coughing, and/or wheezing. Avoidance measures are of limited value. Appropriate allergy medication and/or immunotherapy is often required. See a board certified allergist.
