Typically not really: Gabapentin would be a drug of choice to treat a "burning sensation" in a limb if it were felt to be a pain of "neuropathic origin" or originating from some nerve root irritation. Bottom line is that burning sensation in a limb should not be the consequence of taking Gabapentin...but of course the disclaimer is always the same, "Anything is possible ERGO, talk to the doc" if there's a problem."
