Suspect positional compression of a superficial sensory nerve. This may involve tight clothing and have seen numerous cases of lateral femoral nerve of the thigh compressed at or near the waist. But this may involve branches of the peroneal nerve. Rather than guess, see your doctor, get examined, and be diagnosed.
