A member asked:

Are there any antidepressants i can talk to my doctor about that do not create/worsten facial tics? its a common side effect and i have tourette's.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sure: While it is a side effect of many anti-depressants, the incidence is higher in some than others. Even in those that have higher incidence, it doesn't happen frequently - about 15% for the higher incidence ones. That means you have an 85% chance of doing fine even with the worst offenders. A psychiatrist would be very aware of which ones would be best to try for your specific situation. Good luck!
