Hazardous hiccups?: Hiccups are intractable if they are literally just that, intractable -- meaning they DO NOT resolve, or rarely resolve only to resume without provocation & again defy resolution. Otherwise, hiccups are benign. What is hazardous is smoking! Have you considered quitting? Talk with ur MD about smoking cessation & available help including support, medication, brief therapies & more. Give it a try!:)
