Not required: It is not required that dentures be taken out at night. They do need to be thoroughly cleaned once or more a day. And the gums underneath need a periodic "breather". If the dentures are too loose, see your dentist. A reline or implants may be necessary for a better fit.

Not recommended: Some dentists recommend removing your dentures at night to give your mouth a chance to rest. You should leave your dentures in during the night to protect the airway and prevent obstructive sleep apnea.
