Not recommended.: Ambien use during pregnancy is considered risky and associated with preterm, Cesarean, and small-for-age births, as well as infants with low birth weights, although it has not been linked with birth defects. You *may* use Ambien during pregnancy, however, your risk for these pregnancy events may rise, so I would not recommend it. Instead, meditation and pregnancy-appropriate exercise may work.
