Same medication: Duloxetine is the generic name while Cymbalta (duloxetine) is the brand name. There may be differences In the fillers and binders in the capsules but the active ingredient is the same. It is an SNRI approved for major depression, general anxiety, fibromyalgia and some types of pain.
