What happens if someone throws up blood and goes to the hospital where they find out they have a stomach ulcer due to stress, what happens next?

Treat the ulcer : If a bleeding stomach ulcer is discovered at endoscopy, the bleeding will be stopped during the procedure. Afterwords, the patient will be placed on medication to heal the ulcer. If helicobacter is present in the stomach, it will also need to be treated. If the ulcer is in the stomach, a repeat endoscopy will be necessary in two months. If in the duodenum, it is likely unnecessary. Good luck.
