I came out of hospital diagnosed with gastric ulcer , this has been painfully at times , i have been able to go have stools gradually but there is always blood , should i be concerned ?

Basics: If the blood were part of your ulcer issue it would be exposed to stomach acid/digestive enzymes & show up as black tarry poop.Bright red or darker blood in the poop is not normal but would come from nearer the outlet.You should contact your doc & sort this out.
