How long can it take for multiple stomach ulcers (biopsy shows no cancer) to fully heal?
My doc thinks I have a stomach ulcer.Im off to hospital for endoscopy soon but im in lots of pain. I take ranitidine.What will ease my pain?

My biopsies are h. Pylori negative but shows reactive chemical gastropathy. I dont take nsaids. Is this bile? And will Prilosec actually work. My upper abdomen hurts. I also have a small superficial non bleeding ulcer?
What is the logic here? I'm supposed to be on esomeprazole for a bleeding stomach ulcer but i can't afford it so i'm on omeprazole (free from hospital) but it doesn't work as well as ranitidine (otc)
