No: Forgive my frankness, and with all respect to the rhetoric ("Jog for the cure!", etc.) Cancer results from accumulation of genetic mutations. Once destabilized, cancers can evolve resistance to treatment. Given the nature of the genetic code and that the instability of DNA allowed evolution in the first place, cancer is inevitable and some forms will be incurable for the foreseeable future.
