Needs evaluation: He needs to be evaluated. I'm not sure how it works in Indiana, but in Florida children over 3 years old are evaluated thru the school board. If there are other issues, he may need an evaluation by a developmental pediatrician,child psychologist or neurologist (or audiologist if there is a concern about his hearing) Your pediatrician should be able to direct you to the appropriate services.

Needs a work up: See doctor and he needs a hearing and speech evaluation and to be checked for any other problems.
