A member asked:

What happens if two parents who's blood types are both b produce a child that has blood type o, what can you say about the parent's genotypes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Homework problem: Probably both parents have one copy of the B allele and one copy of the O allele. There are other exceptional situations -- each parent may carry Bombay, which when inherited from each parent masks B. And there are some weak alleles. Enjoy your studies.
