Depends: Hi. Yes, we all die, no matter what, so whether you have your pancreas removed or not, you will die. But you can live a good life without a pancreas by taking pancreatic digestive enzyme pills with meals and snacks, and by taking insulin. If the pancreas is removed because of pancreatic cancer, you may do well (consider Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the few decent SCOTUS judges), or you may not.
