Cold feet: If your feet feel numb after being in cold water, it is due to the tiny blood vessels constricting and reducing the flow of blood to the area. If the numbness does not go away once the foot is removed from the cold water then you need to see a doctor as soon as possible to make sure it is not a more serious nerve or circulation problem.
