Get evaluated: the first step is getting evaluated. please see a therapist or psychiatrist, this is what they do. in the meantime you could do some symptom report scales, fill them out and bring them to your evaluation: PHQ-9 and Zung SAS. sometimes emotional numbing is associated with PTSD and hx of trauma, look at national center for ptsd if needed.
