Nerve Root Injury: Most probably you have chronic nerve root/peripheral sensory nerve injury which is worsening, you have to see a physical medicine & rehabilitation physician who will be able to guide you through operative or non-operative treatment plan, and offcourse prior to any treatment you will need some investigations (emg, MRI etc) to determine the exact location of nerve injury.

Mp: Sounds like irritation of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve around the anterior superior iliac spine in inguinal region...Usually seen in folks who are obese or tight fitting clothes. Injection can help. Losing weight and loosening clothes.
