See expert: Your mother should be seen at a major academic center if she has not already (she may have been for the bone marrow transplant consultation). This is a question you should be asking someone who does nothing but myeloma or plasma cell disorders. Be honest and frank about your concerns with her doctor. Make sure your mother is okay with you discussing this.
